With limited direction from an Area Director, the Human Resources Manager acts as a business partner to the local management team, overseeing the HR function for assigned divisions while ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and company programs.
Key responsibilities include providing HR advice and counseling on performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation, as well as implementing and monitoring policies related to training, compensation, compliance, and benefits to attract and retain talent.
The manager oversees maintenance of employee records, monitors compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, coordinates hiring and termination activities with operations and corporate HR, and assists in investigations and management meetings.
Identifying training needs, developing and delivering programs such as new‑hire orientation and leadership sessions, conducting audits, and managing succession planning and talent initiatives are essential duties; the role may also supervise other HR or administrative staff and requires up to 60% travel.
Preferred qualifications emphasize the ability to influence all organizational levels and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of experience as an HR Generalist or Manager handling all HR functions; the pay range is $114,800 to $157,850, varying by location.
Compensation includes an annual incentive target of 25% and a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, disability, life insurance, employee assistance, discounts, 401(k) matching, stock purchase plan, and paid time off.
Employees enjoy a supportive environment that values safety, continuous learning, cutting‑edge technology, and meaningful contributions to sustainability goals.
