The role involves designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, while automating resource provisioning with IaC tools. It also includes building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, overseeing microservice deployments in Kubernetes, and enhancing monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and have at least five years of experience in DevOps, security, or infrastructure engineering. Required skills include cloud security best practices, CI/CD tooling, Linux administration, containerization, scripting (Python/Bash), git workflows, and experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, SIEM, and IDS/IPS.
Desired qualifications include a Top Secret clearance, knowledge of programming languages (Java, Go, JavaScript), SQL and database management, IAM/RBAC/Zero Trust models, and relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, AWS/Azure Security). Experience with serverless architectures, air‑gapped environments, software supply‑chain security, and satellite communications is also valued.
The position is a regular full‑time role based in the United States, requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, and may involve access to export‑controlled technology.
