Our Infrastructure Services business in Gladstone and Mackay is seeking a reliable, self‑motivated Pavement Advisor to support the asphalt crew. Instead of working on the tools, you will run a PQI380 to monitor pavement compaction in real time, mark core test locations and feed critical information back to the foreman and site engineers. You will also handle end‑of‑shift reports that capture what went right and what needs attention.
The role requires consistent communication, strong attention to detail and the ability to stay one step ahead to help the crew meet specifications each shift. Comfort with technology is essential, and experience with compaction testing gear or soil testing is advantageous. A valid driver’s licence is required; night shifts and occasional away work will also be required.
