- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively write detailed service reports.
- Must be familiar with gas and electric welders, cutting with flame and plasma equipment, welding with stick and flux-cored and welding metal with TIG and MIG welding equipment.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while independent and self-sufficient.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
