Description

In this role you will manage the financial functions of projects within our accounting database, collaborating closely with project managers to ensure accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. Core duties include client invoicing, updating work‑in‑process (WIP) reporting, and supporting collection efforts. You will also set up project information, generate and finalize invoices, and conduct monthly reviews and project completion activities.

• Set up accurate project information in the accounting database based on contract provisions.
• Verify and edit project rate schedules and demographic data.
• Generate pre‑bill reports, incorporate project‑manager edits, and finalize invoices with required documentation.
• Post and submit invoices to clients according to contract terms and deadlines.
• Adjust project budgets in the accounting platform per manager guidance and close monthly accounting periods.
• Assist with collection of past‑due accounts and perform monthly invoicing reviews.
• Conduct project completion activities, including backlog and WIP review, invoicing accuracy verification, and final project closure.

Required education is a high school diploma or GED, with an associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance considered a plus. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in project billing and possess knowledge of KPI reporting and dashboards.
