A leading construction firm specializing in diverse sectors like infrastructure, commercial, and residential.
As a Safety Manager at Clark Construction, you will lead the creation of a safety‑first culture on world‑class projects, protecting employees, trade partners, and the public while ensuring compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal safety standards.
The role involves collaborating with project supervisors to develop safe work plans, delivering job‑site safety education, mentoring safety staff, and coordinating third‑party safety reviews such as OSHA inspections, while balancing on‑site, hands‑on duties with office tasks like documentation and meetings.
Candidates must have at least four years of construction‑safety experience, an undergraduate degree in safety and health or equivalent trade experience, and demonstrated expertise in crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolding, and heavy‑equipment safety. Preferred credentials include OSHA 30‑Hour, CHST or CSP certification, and first‑aid/CPR training.
The position is physically demanding, requiring frequent navigation of uneven terrain, ladders, and hoists, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb. Work is performed in varied weather, noisy and confined spaces, with occasional extended hours to meet critical project deadlines.
Clark Construction offers a high‑performance culture that values resilience, teamwork, and ethical leadership, and provides a drug‑free workplace with equal‑opportunity policies for all employees.
