Analyzes and investigates site problem reports.
Support may include physical testing, analyzing data, and interpreting information.
Develops work instructions and plans; provide formal and informal training; monitor site and equipment operational configurations.
Interfaces with developers, manufacturers, vendors, and/or Government personnel to resolve technical and engineering problems and perform other duties as specified.
Recommends changes to improve site operations and system performance.
Prepares recommendations and solutions for specific areas in question.
Submits redlines to the existing Plant-In-Place (PIP) drawings, as needed, for each of the WSOCs, RSSCs, ADF DNOC, RMCEs, 53 SOPS HQ.
Identifies, plans, and accomplishes training instruction needed to ensure engineering support personnel stay current and obtain certifications needed to provide required services.
Provides information to the Post Production Software Support/Post Development Software Support (PPSS/PDSS) organizations or other equipment manufacturers as needed to help them develop installation plans and procedures.
Guides and coordinates contract performance in various technical areas sites.
Prepares assessments, systems implementation plans, systems integrations and system test and evaluation plans and procedures.

Advanced understanding and ability to troubleshoot cybersecurity, IT, and WSOMS control subsystems; and Wideband SATCOM and commercial satellites support.
Normal hours of operation (0730–1630 hours).
Requires DoD 8140 (DoD 8570) Cybersecurity certification. IAT II or higher, CySA+, or Security+ (or equivalent), or higher.
Exhibits exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness in SATCOM operations and maintenance.
BA/BS degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
Active Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI is required.
US Citizen.
May require travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations, expect approximately 10%.
Able to troubleshoot and resolve problems independently and in high pressure situations.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; able to communicate and brief complex concepts at all levels.
