Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff;
Ensure that the designs are accurate and that contract responsibilities are met according to client's expectations;
Creates virtual models of the product / processes and reviews the design using 2-D/3-D drafting;
Facilitate and direct the development of structural models, drawings, and specifications;
Develop preliminary and detailed drawings, utilizing AutoDesk Software Suite;
Directly interface with clients for engineering and design consultations;
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create designs, develop systems, and/or new product / processes;
Create designs for structural/foundation components consisting of shallow foundations, piles and caissons design, structural steel, and metal structures of moderate complexity to meet client project requirements;

Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer Registration.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk performing computer work.
5+ years of related Structural Engineering experience
3+ years of work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or commercial setting
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Light travel maybe required up to 15%
Bachelor’s degree in Civil\Structural Engineering
Solid understanding of core concepts including soils, shallow foundation design, caisson design, drilled pier design, statics, materials science etc.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
FE or PE certification preferred, but opportunity to obtain certification can be developed.
