Ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of the projects
Manage the projects main designer contract ensuring assistance is provided to the design team on cost information of design
Management of quantity surveying and assistant Quantity surveyors during the construction stage of the project
Contract management / administration of a number subcontracts (NEC4 Option A/C/E Subcontract) and design contracts (NEC4 PSC Contract Option A/C/E) ensuring compliance with the contract and Dragados management systems.
Overseeing Subcontract administration for the delivery of the works including design / site set-up / civils / marine works and building and MEP works
Assist the Procurement Manager in commercial and financial aspects of contracts.
Preparation of contractual correspondence and responding to communications from the project manager
Report to the commercial manager on contractual aspects of the project
Costing of value engineering proposals and assisting in the assessment of changes to the accepted programme
Produce monthly cost and value reporting including cash flow forecast and presentation to the senior management team
Assisting the commercial manager in educating the project team in the specific requirements of the NEC conditions of contract.
Manage and co-ordinate with the package manager the change management process under the subcontracts including drafting of contractors instructions / reviewing NCEs and quotations for compensation events
Registration, notification and evaluation of early warning procedures events.
Manage and assess the monthly payment process for the aforementioned subcontract in accordance with the contractual timescales
Work with the estimating manager and specialist suppliers to review and update the construction stage estimate in accordance with the latest design
Provide contractual advice to the commercial, construction and engineering departments.

The role will require the post holder to have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal and to be able to report at management level.
Experience working with for a Main Contractor on large Civil Engineering / infrastructure projects.
Experience of working NEC 3 or 4 contract, and administering NEC 3 or Subcontract (Option A / B / C / E)
Able to work as part of a team.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a numerate or commercial discipline
Member or Associate Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or working towards.
Computer skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer
Analytical mind and logical problem solving.
Good understanding of EU and UK legislative requirements affecting procurement.
