What you would be doing
- Follow all company safety protocols, DOT/OSHA regulations, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). *
- Read and follow grade stakes, project plans, and instructions from supervisors. *
- Coordinate with ground crews and other operators to ensure smooth workflow. *
- Monitor job site conditions and adjust operations to maintain safety and efficiency. *
- Operate a trackhoe to dig, trench, grade, and move earth, rock, or other materials. *
- Load trucks, place pipe, backfill trenches, and assist with utility installation. *
- Maintain awareness of surroundings, especially near personnel, traffic, and other machinery. *
- Perform daily pre-operational and post-operational equipment inspections. *
- Conduct routine maintenance such as greasing, checking fluid levels, and cleaning the machine. *
