Develop engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, specifications, bid documents, engineering directives, and other data, according to client specifications for municipal road and highway infrastructure projects.
Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analysis, including flood mapping, water balance analysis, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, and LID Design.
Develop and oversee preparation of contract packages includes design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Design and prepare profiles, cross sections, and storm drainage systems.
Prepare reports, calculations, technical memos, and meeting minutes.
Performs basic calculations to analyze and design water resources system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software (e.g., Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, GIS, Culvert Master, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY8, CulvertMaster, AutoCAD etc.).
Support project management, proposal writing and business development and client base support.

Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and project engineering in municipal roads and/or highways including preliminary and detailed design, specifications, and contract documents.
Effective interpersonal skills, a strong client-service focus, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) or Registered as an EIT with Professional Engineers Ontario.
Bachelor's'in Civil Engineering (Water Resources) from a recognized institution, Graduate Degree is an asset.
Demonstrated problem solving ability.
Working knowledge of using different design criteria manuals from Cities, MTO, MOE, and Conservation Authorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet established deadlines.
Minimum of 3 years of Water Resources Engineering experience.
Working knowledge of current design software including MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
