The Role

Overview

Provide EMI, HIRF, lightning, and static design/testing support for aircraft certification.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Interact with the certification authorities to define lightning, RF and EMI requirements -Collect the test results and prepare the reports required for certification -Coordinate and perform aircraft-level electromagnetic tests -Coordinate equipment and system level tests with the various design teams -Document best-practice EMI design guidelines for designers to use

What You Bring

-A car is required to visit the various test installations -Electrical Engineering or Physics background -Hands-on capabilities to prepare test articles -DO-160 / MIL-STD-461 testing experience -Good understanding of the physics of electromagnetics -Good team, communication and leadership skills -High energy, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented -Experience certifying aircraft for electromagnetic aspects
