  • Provide technical and operational support for the sales teams including proper pricing and scope of work definition for project opportunities.
  • Monitor project status and control job costs to maintain margins.
  • Solve the world’s most significant problems – Be part of exciting and innovative projects.
  • Oversee supervision of all installation and retrofit work and personnel on assigned jobs.
  • Manage revenue and gross margin to achieve monthly and annual business plans.
  • Determine resource needs (eg staffing tools) and provide any corresponding documentation.
  • Communicate project information (eg equipment changes) to engineering operations and sales employees as needed to minimize cost and delay throughout the estimating bidding and operations phases of each project.
  • Act as the main point of customer contact for the project delivery and issues mitigation.
  • Direct and supervise the development of project plans and ensure plans are followed.
  • Build and maintain an effective operations organization committed to customer and employee satisfaction and profitable growth.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Travel/visit within areas covered by the branch.
  • Ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed in accordance with contract documents and customer expectations.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Schedule installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover and warranty.
  • Deliver project revenue forecasting and reporting results to Branch Operations Manager.

  • Strong knowledge of building electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • 3-5 years project management and technical experience in Building Automation System field BAU/BAS, but would consider applicants with a strong background in either HVAC or Mechanical.
  • Financial acumen (costing/ budgeting/ forecasting etc.).
  • Knowledge of CAN/ULC standards, Canadian Building and Electrical codes.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; and ability to communicate with contractors, consultants, and executives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or alternate Project Management Software.
