Senior Grid Connection Manager

Based in Melbourne VIC, you will be accountable for managing and leading a team responsible for submitting and reviewing connection enquiries and responses, securing connection agreements, and managing technical and commercial grid connection aspects for our clients' renewable energy investment projects.

• Manage the client-side contractual delivery of Connection Agreements and securing of generator registrations to ensure efficient delivery of connections for renewable energy projects
• Manage the interface between NSPs, AEMO, contractors, and consultants to ensure efficient grid connection delivery
• Lead a small team to ensure efficient delivery of connections for renewable energy projects

We are seeking an experienced Senior Grid Connection Manager to join our Engineering & Environmental Advisory team.

Previous experience in the in NEM focusing on large scale renewable and storage project development is essential for this role.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in the field
• Experience undertaking Grid Connection studies from pre-FIA to R2, using PSCAD and PSSe
• Strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen
• Qualified with a relevant Electrical Engineering or equivalent field degree
• Strong experience negotiating connection agreements
• Specific experience in the NEM focusing on large-scale renewable and storage project development
• Ability to manage complex technical and commercial issues
