Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Collaborate with other departments and senior management to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Provide financial guidance and support to various stakeholders.
Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. Conduct regular assessments and recommend improvements as needed.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of corporate accountants. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on achieving financial goals.
Working closely with the Controller, take the lead in preparing consolidated financial statements accurately in a timely manner for the controller's review, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and timely.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Assist in the evaluation of business opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and financial risk management.
Coordinate and support external audits. Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and implement audit recommendations.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes to accounting policies and procedures.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations. Leverage technology to streamline accounting processes.
Working with the Controller, responsible for the management of Concur application.

Collaborate with the Controller on the quarterly financial statements due to our lenders and investors.

5+ years of experience in accounting.
Big 4 Accounting or Regional Accounting firm experience preferred.
Experience with lender compliance reporting is a plus.
Nimble Learning - Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both success and failures as learning fodder
2+ years of management experience with direct reports.
Thorough knowledge and experience with US GAAP.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Manages Ambiguity - Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.
Interpersonal Savvy - Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
Understanding of the Internal Control framework and SOX is a plus.
Tech Savvy - Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.
SAP S/4 Hana or (or similar ERP accounting systems) experience is a big plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
