Coordinate statutory audits, filings, and director appointments.
Implement and maintain a centralized entity and compliance management/tracking system to ensure accurate and timely tracking of corporate documents and regulatory filings.
Ensure alignment with HQ governance policies, including subsidiary control, approvals, and internal audits.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and functional leaders, balancing commercial needs with compliance imperatives.
Manage board and shareholder meetings, preparation of minutes, resolutions, statutory registers, and annual filings.
Support ongoing legal and compliance projects such as process improvements, template rollouts, and technology adoption (including our AI-based legal tool for contract review).
Oversee the corporate records and governance calendar for Fluence’s Indian entity.
Assist in compliance training and policy rollout across the APAC region.
Lead or co-lead smaller projects and process enhancements within the legal function.
Provide timely and practical legal advice to internal teams, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk appetite.
Provide regulatory support on licensing, corporate approvals, and registrations.
Support internal stakeholders on data protection, ethics, and corporate conduct matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including NDAs, local procurement contracts, SaaS agreements, and intercompany service arrangements.
Manage intercompany documentation, including share issuances, capital infusions, and intercompany loans.
Liaise with external counsel, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Support board structuring, power of attorney management, and delegation of authority frameworks.
Serve as the governance lead for Fluence’s Indian entity — ensuring timely filings, maintenance of registers, and consistency of documentation across jurisdictions.
Work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel, General Counsel (APAC), Finance, and Tax teams to implement governance and compliance controls.

You have excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced international environment.
You are highly organized, with an exceptional attention to detail. You have the ability to manage different priorities while always staying focused on the bigger goal.
You have a solid corporate background with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, ideally within a multinational corporation or a reputable law firm. You understand what a dynamic organisation expects of its legal team and excel in such environments. You may need to travel sometimes.
You have a strong understanding of Indian corporate law and cross-border entity management.
You have demonstrated experience managing corporate governance matters.
You have a law degree (LL.B) and are a registered Company Secretary (member of the ICSI);
