Construct, repair and maintain Tasmania's electricity network up to 22kV.
-Conduct low and high voltage switching, inspections and fault finding -Respond promptly to network faults, ensuring safety for yourself, your team and the public -Build, repair and maintain overhead and underground distribution assets, substations and public lighting -Operate on the distribution system up to 22kV and complete all required documentation and reporting
-Willingness to learn, adopt new technology and take on challenges -Physically fit, with the ability to meet medical requirements -Tasmanian Practitioner’s Licence (or ability to obtain) -Strong focus on safety, teamwork and communication -White Card and relevant High Risk Work Licences (Dogging, EWP, Vehicle Loading Crane) -Certificate III in Electrotechnology (UEE30811) and Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead (UET30612) or equivalent -Current driver’s licence and ability to obtain a truck licence -Ability to participate in regular overtime and the on-call roster
