Description

• Collaborate with various teams to support ABB’s operations and ensure timely project completion.
• Leverage customer insights and ABB offerings to identify suitable solutions that meet expectations.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
• Seek feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance.
• Review and update risk assessments.
• Review and update equipment-specific lockout/tagout procedures.
• Support implementation of the HSE management system.
• Champion safety culture and engagement.
• Build relationships with people leaders and employees to proactively resolve safety concerns.
• Utilize critical thinking to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide project updates.

Requirements

This internship reports to the HSE Manager and offers practical experience through various projects. The role is based onsite/hybrid in Mebane, NC, allowing you to acquire knowledge by performing directed tasks and supporting ABB’s operations while enhancing your education and career opportunities.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering, Science, or a related field in the U.S.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
