Overseeing multiple integrated teams, the Manager Advanced Operations Resilience is responsible for the reliable day-to-day operational performance of a 9,500 km water network and a 9,700 km wastewater network. The role focuses on delivering flexible, efficient short- to mid-term operational planning, supporting operational technology platforms, and driving timely fault identification and resolution. The aim is to consistently meet service performance targets, safeguard community health, provide excellent customer outcomes, manage long-term costs, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and safe drinking water requirements.
This role is a critical part of the Network Services Leadership Team, nurturing a positive, collaborative culture and supporting steady, thoughtful leadership across the organisation. It helps guide clear operational strategy, encourages consistent and reliable performance, and supports the constructive resolution of issues as they arise.

- Strong understanding of technical and regulatory obligations operating a water utility
- Proven ability leading highly technical discussions and passion for continues improvement via technological changes
- Experience or qualifications in emergency management or business resilience would be highly regarded.
- Water and Wastewater experience is highly regarded
- Experience and a commitment to being a great leader and working with Cross functional teams
- Experience taking highly technical topics and conveying to corporate teams to effectively communicate opportunities and risk
- Superior stakeholder management across internal and external teams
- A relevant degree qualification in engineering, science or business or equivalent experience.
