Your role includes participating in sampling campaigns for fugitive emissions from petrochemical processes and analyzing and annotating refinery and petrochemical plant P&IDs. You will verify compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations, calibrate and maintain measurement and sampling equipment, conduct inspections to detect and repair volatile organic compound leaks at industrial sites, and perform daily data processing.
Candidates should hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC or AEC) in environment, industrial hygiene, or a related field and have good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook. Physical fitness is required to handle 12 kg equipment, climb ladders and work at heights, and a valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle is mandatory. Possession of an ASP Construction card and knowledge of standards, sampling methods, and atmospheric quality regulations are assets.
