Project Management: Serving as a project manager for INDOT and local agency roadway design projects. Overseeing and participating in project execution from initiation to completion. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Team Leadership: Leading a team that may consist of engineers and design technicians. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior-level engineers and other team members to aid in their professional development. Fostering a collaborative and positive work environment among the team.
Client Relationship Management: Maintaining and enhancing relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of service, communication, and client satisfaction. Collaborating with senior management on strategic planning and assisting with business development. Preparing proposals and/or funding applications.
Project Delivery & Quality: Performing quality checks on work performed by project team members. Providing leadership in the planning, design, and execution of major projects. Preparing project documents and designs, conducting analyses, interpreting data, and planning and coordinating the engineering work to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Reviewing and approving project deliverables, including drawings and specifications. Serving as a technical expert in Roadway design. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing measures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality of work

Valid Driver's License
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools for design, project management, and analysis.
Experience with project management and accounting software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional organization skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Typically requires 12+ years of relevant experience in engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE).
Demonstrated ability to maintain and enhance client relationships.
