Bring your Serviceperson expertise to a team that values safety, craftsmanship, and clear communication. In this role you will support the maintenance of a heavy-equipment fleet—including fueling and lubrication—to keep operations running smoothly on the CNRL Albian Reclamation 2026 project in Fort Mackay, AB. Join the True Blue Ledcor team today.
You will operate trucks to safely service heavy equipment, conduct pre-trip walk-around inspections and daily Field Level Hazard Assessments, and perform detailed equipment inspections while reporting any repairs needed. You will assist in scheduling repairs, complete required maintenance records and documentation, and communicate professionally with team members. As a safety and production leader you will ensure compliance with all company, client and legislative safety policies and procedures. Your work will be performed with minimal supervision.
The position requires previous experience as a Serviceperson on heavy equipment in a reclamation or mining environment and the ability to work independently. A valid driver’s licence with a clear three-year abstract is mandatory, as is successful completion of a pre-access drug and alcohol test. Candidates must hold CSTS-2020, Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA’s Basic Safety Orientation (BSO) certification. Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety are essential.
This is a project-based role with a 14-day on/14-day off schedule, 12-hour shifts, and travel allowance plus camp accommodations for qualified personnel. Work will be primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions, with an anticipated start date of January 2026. Extended Health & Wellness Benefits are provided through CLAC Alberta, along with a comprehensive health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and mental‑health assistance program. A competitive retirement package is administered through the Union under the collective agreement.
