Work with General Managers and Operations teams on required quarterly reporting and other reporting as required.
Organize and conduct training programs including but not limited to: WHMIS, Fall Protection, Personal Protection Equipment, CPR/First Aid
Work with EllisDon's project and corporate teams to track all relevant KPI's to ensure that our reporting is accurate and up to date.
Support, develop, and implement leading strategies and approaches that support a culture of care.
Work with the operations and preconstruction teams on prequalification's and project agreements to provide guidance and direction on specific safety requirements.
Along with the operations team, support and represent the organization with the client on health and safety related matters.
Lead the implementation of global HSE strategies that promote "Best In Class" safety program.
Monitor sites to ensure they are effectively completing and updating the documents as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and EllisDon's Safety Management System.
Develop and implement systems and standards, in environmental and safety performance by continuously increasing and level of awareness to support the goal of eliminating all incidents and injuries.
Develop and analyze safety plans for potential and current projects.
Conduct worksite safety inspections/audits and oversee the investigation of all incidents.

You are working towards, or are already a certified member under the Occupational Health & Safety Act/Regulations with experience working on large scale sites. A college degree or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or a related topic would be a benefit Experience with COR process certification would be an advantage
You have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in managing health and safety within operations, services and construction sites
You have the ability to delegate and influence others to follow safety rules and regulations
You are Willing to travel and have a valid driver's license.
