The trainee will handle a range of escrow administrative functions, including document preparation, fund processing, title coordination, and closing logistics, while supporting the Branch Manager and Escrow Officer.
- Perform all Escrow Receptionist tasks
- Prepare and send opening letters and acknowledgments
- Order title commitments and distribute them to relevant parties
- Prepare receipts for funds received from customers or lenders
- Order wire transfers and provide wiring instructions
- Prepare loan packages for return to lenders
- Conduct simple cash and seller carry‑back pre‑audits
- Handle builder reports, order surveys, obtain hazard insurance, enter order information, and gather HOA details
- Schedule and coordinate closing times
- Prepare copies for disbursement and closing transmittals
- Monitor termite inspection requests and other required inspections
- Order and update payoff/assumption statements as needed
- Assist the Branch Manager with administrative tasks
- Assist the Closer/Escrow Officer with final policy disbursement
- Answer limited customer and agent inquiries about transaction status
- Cancel files according to office procedures
- Conduct business professionally and ethically to enhance customer goodwill and company profit
