Combining all cost elements to create a detailed and accurate estimate for the project
Accurately calculate the quantities of materials required for the project, such as CFMF interior/exterior framing, drywall hanging/finishing, and acoustical treatments
Attend project walkthroughs with the ability to gather all necessary information to be able to provide an accurate cost estimate
Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Obtain quotes from suppliers and vendors for materials and equipment, ensuring competitive pricing
Presenting the estimate to project team or potential contractors in a clear and professional manner
Calculate overhead, indirect costs, profit margins, and contingency costs to arrive at a comprehensive project estimate
Determine the labor hours and costs needed for different tasks, considering the skills of the tradespeople involved
Staying up to date on industry trends and pricing

Must possess superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Must possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
Practical experience in construction projects can be valuable for understanding real-world costs and challenges
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret plans, identify potential issues, and develop accurate estimates
Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials for the understanding of different construction techniques and materials used in interior projects
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Metal Framing and Drywall Estimator
