The Product Owner cum Scrum Master role balances product strategy with Agile process excellence, leading product value delivery while coaching high‑performing teams. You will own the product backlog, align stakeholders, facilitate Scrum events, and remove impediments to ensure the team builds the right product, the right way.
Key responsibilities include defining, refining, and prioritizing backlog items aligned to business outcomes, translating needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and promoting Agile values through Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Reviews, and Retrospectives. You will track progress against the roadmap, coordinate release planning and post‑release monitoring, ensure transparency with dashboards, conduct EPIC system demonstrations, and identify and mitigate product development risks.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, with 5–8+ years of product management or Agile delivery experience, including at least 3 years as a PO or Scrum Master. Required skills cover prioritization frameworks (WSJF, RICE), roadmap creation, data‑driven decision making, Scrum/Kanban mastery, and strong communication. Proficiency with Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, Miro, Power BI/Tableau, and relevant certifications (CSPO, PSPO, CSM, PSM, SAFe) is preferred.
