- This role requires regular on-site presence at properties throughout Montgomery County and North Baltimore, so candidates should reside within reasonable driving distance in Maryland. A monthly auto allowance is provided to support travel within the region.
- Adaptability: Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Financial Acumen: Ability to interpret and manage budgets, P&L statements, and financial reports
- Experience with lease-ups and community redevelopments; multi-site management experience a plus
- Certifications: CAM or CPM certification preferred; real estate license and other certifications like COS, CPO, HCCP, or C3P are advantageous
- Leadership: Proven coaching and team management skills
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and community management software (e.g., Yardi)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Real Estate preferred
- Customer Service: Superior customer service skills with experience managing challenging situations
- A Valid Driver's License is required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive community management experience, ideally in multifamily housing
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of REAC, MOR, fair housing laws, and regulatory agreements
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels
- Familiarity with compliance programs such as Tax Credit Compliance and HUD Section 8
- Proficiency in community management software (e.g., Yardi)
