The role is centered on developing and expanding both existing and new government accounts within the Security domain across the United States, covering federal, civilian, and defense contractor verticals. The objective is to increase market share for the installation and service of Johnson Controls’ security solutions.
Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing government contract opportunities, providing market intelligence, and driving new sales with existing customers. The incumbent will manage pipelines, lead bid and contract negotiations, develop strategic plans, build relationships at industry events, and ensure compliance with procurement regulations to achieve targeted sales growth and profitability.
Candidates should possess a college degree in sales, marketing, or a related field (preferred) and at least ten years of commercial sales experience, preferably in the security industry. Proven business‑development skills, strong communication, leadership, and the ability to contribute to business‑plan development are essential.
