Key responsibilities include expanding Terex's footprint across Tennessee by acquiring new accounts and growing existing relationships, especially within the public power segment. The manager will utilize Oracle, Salesforce, and other sales enablement tools to manage pipelines, forecasting, and account activities. Building strong relationships with key accounts such as KUB, Duck River, Meriwether-Lewis, CEMC, and TVA, aligning product offerings with utility-specific challenges, and collaborating with the Terex Service team to ensure post‑sale support are essential duties. Regular travel throughout the territory for in‑person meetings, equipment demos, and fleet evaluations is required.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, the highest level of integrity, and the ability to travel three out of four weeks each month. Preferred candidates have over four years of sales experience, a bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, and can pass a Motor Vehicle Report. Essential skills cover Salesforce.com experience, new business development, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, advanced written communication for proposals, problem‑solving, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Terex and Genie utility products. The role also demands comfort operating construction and industrial equipment and occasional extended overnight trips.
The compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 annually, based on education, experience, and certifications.
