

In this role you will keep automation projects moving by supporting data‑center startups, performing on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, and leading startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems. You’ll partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems, while providing clear communication and updates to customers and project teams. Travel follows rotations such as 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off, giving you new challenges and locations on each assignment.

Preferred experience includes working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and communication networking, along with adaptability, grit, strong communication, and problem‑solving skills. Applicants must live within 50 miles of a major airport, have a personal vehicle within 45 days of employment, be authorized to work in the U.S., and hold a technical degree or 3+ years of related hands‑on experience.
Physical requirements include the ability to walk long distances across large facilities, climb ladders or work at heights, lift and carry up to 50 lb, and stand, kneel, or reach for extended periods in varied environments such as construction sites, outdoors, and hot or cold conditions. Compensation starts at $60,000–$75,000 plus per diem, mileage reimbursement, utilization and weekend bonuses, and we offer annual merit raises with a 5 % salary increase after six months.
