Locations: We are hiring for candidates commutable to either our Manchester or Sheffield offices.
Whether you’re ready to take the next step in your ecological career or bring years of experience to a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you — especially if you bring passion, drive, and transferable experience.
You're an experienced ecologist with a deep understanding of UK habitats, species, and relevant legislation, and you're confident managing a range of ecological tasks from fieldwork to reporting.
- Has a relevant undergraduate degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification)
- Can manage complex projects with minimal supervision
- Brings a proactive, flexible approach to a dynamic workload
- Has a strong track record in report writing and quality assurance
- Brings experience in habitat and protected species assessments
- Has an eye for detail and a commitment to best practice
- Previous experience in business development or client liaison is beneficial, but not essential
- Enjoys supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
- May hold protected species survey and/or mitigation licences (advantageous)
