  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of outdoor thermal comfort.
  • Develop technical reports and studies for sustainability certification and environmental documentation as part of project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with urban planners, master plan architects and landscape designers to integrate thermal comfort solutions into project designs.
  • Conduct thermal comfort assessments for outdoor environments using various tools and methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve thermal comfort in outdoor spaces.
  • Use simulation software to model and predict thermal comfort outcomes.
  • Analyse microclimatic data, including temperature, humidity, wind speed and solar radiation.
  • Be part of multidisciplinary project teams which require sustainability input and environmental compliance, from conception to completion.
  • Provide advice on materials, shading devices, vegetation, and other elements that influence outdoor thermal comfort.

  • Master’s degree or Phd. in Architecture, Engineering,Pplanning or related sciences field.
  • Minimum 2+ years in an international engineering /design / project management / sustainability consultancy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Planning or related field.
  • Experience in coordinating with diverse individuals and teams including client, consultant, contractor, design, and construction members to enable achievement of outdoor thermal comfort objectives and targets.
  • Experience with GIS and data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze climatic data.
  • Estidama PCRS PQP and/or LEED AP and/or BREEAM AP accreditation (additional credentials a plus).
  • Documented participation in the preparation of a third-party sustainability certification application (e.g., LEED, WELL, Mostadam, Envision, Estidama).
  • Strong understanding on microclimate and outdoor thermal comfort principles and solutions.
  • Good knowledge on the latest trends on the sustainability field and finding ways to implement them synergistically.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of thermal comfort indices (e.g., PMV, PET, UTCI).
  • Proficiency in simulation and modelling software Rhino-Grasshopper, ladybug, CFD tools, Autodesk Forma.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
