Maintains files of project cost management processes and supporting backup documentation for reference during project execution.
Monitors Trade Partner Contract and purchase order awards, compares awarded costs to control budgeted costs & determines the bases for variances through change management processes.
Supports the design, implementation and maintenance of cost management programs and systems for the corporation.
Maintains relationships in the industry to facilitate the acquisition of estimating cost management data and processes.
Assists in preparation of services cost management control budgets for projects as required to support achievement of corporate objectives.
Supports the evaluation of historical data, including purchase orders, subcontracts, force reports and productivity reports and incorporate relevant data into company unit cost, material and labour factors.
Evaluates required bid analysis contents by reviewing requests for proposal, attending pre-bid meetings, taking minutes and communicating with project team to support the construction cost management phase.
Assists in preparation of constructed cost management control budgets for projects as required to support achievement of corporate objectives.
Prepares documentation to support the change management process for projects.
Assists in review of Trade Partner change management submissions for validity
Assists in the engagement with project Trade Partners & Client alike.
Works with Project teams to coordinate acquisition of input information for the cost management process for projects.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills dealing with design team / Client (& Client Representatives) / Trade Partners / IPS Senior Management & meetings etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Good attention to detail & record keeping, with an analytical approach and ability to work using your own initiative & thinking outside the box.
Exposure to MEP and Cost Estimating systems a distinct advantage, but not essential.
Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Software
