Join the transformation of Australia's digital landscape as a Customer Field Technician for nbn. Based in the Ipswich/Toowoomba region, you will work directly with customers, delivering hands‑on support that impacts everyday Australians. This full‑time, permanent role is part of a national effort to expand the nbn™ network.
In this autonomous position you will handle installation, repair, and maintenance across all nbn technologies. Daily activities include cabling installation (copper and fibre), jointing, jumpering, splicing, and setting up Customer Premises Equipment. You will also diagnose faults and repair both nbn cabling networks and CPE, typically between 7 am and 7 pm, with flexibility to meet business needs.
We welcome candidates with prior experience in telecommunications as well as those with transferable skills from communication cabling or electrical backgrounds. Successful applicants will possess a current, clean driver’s licence, strong written and verbal communication, and a high level of integrity while working independently in customers’ homes. Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
