Director of Finance

Description

• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure IFRS and regulatory compliance, including state and federal requirements.
• Support business cases, M&A due diligence, and integration activities.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights to guide decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Lead month-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes across multiple US divisions.
• Contribute to long-term business planning and KPI development.
• Broad oversight of finance functions (Operations Accounting, FP&A, Internal Controls, Business Control).
• Review and analyze monthly reports, support business reviews, and prepare commentaries for group reporting.
• Participate in underwriting for bids and new contracts.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform portfolio decisions.
• Oversee annual audits and internal controls testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting;
• Able to travel within the US and Canada.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Expertise with ERP/Accounting systems (Oracle NetSuite, Deltek Costpoint) and reporting tools (OneStream, Power BI).
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• CPA designation (required).
• Ability to work in a decentralized organization and foster teamwork across regions.
• Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and a track record of driving change and improve complex financial processes.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise financial accounting and analysis.
