The role requires excellent technical skills for installation, testing and commissioning of metro electrical and mechanical systems, including electrical panels, cable testing, firefighting equipment and interfacing with civil structures. Responsibilities include commissioning LT panels, DG sets, UPS, fire‑alarm and firefighting systems, plumbing pumps and clean‑gas agent flooding systems, as well as reviewing and finalising electrical drawings submitted by MEP contractors. The engineer will conduct site inspections, ensure safety and quality, manage maintenance contracts during and after the defect‑liability period, and analyse project requirements to map manpower and material resources for cost‑effective execution.
Candidates must hold a B.Tech (or a Diploma) with at least three years of post‑graduation (or five years for diploma holders) experience, preferably in metro projects. Required skills include excellent written and oral English, the ability to work in a culturally diverse organisation, strong problem‑solving abilities in integrated project delivery, and self‑motivation with outstanding leadership and influencing skills.
