Lead the Future of Sustainable Operations with ERM. As a global leader in environmental, health, safety (EHS), risk, and ESG advisory services since 1971, ERM is seeking a visionary Consulting Partner for its Sustainable Operations team. The position is based in the Mountain and Pacific Business Unit, preferably in Seattle, Portland, Walnut Creek, Sacramento, or Phoenix, and offers a hybrid, flexible work environment.

Environmental compliance and sustainability are now business‑critical, and as a Consulting Partner you will help Fortune 500 companies navigate complex regulatory landscapes, mitigate risk, and capture commercial opportunities. This role places you at the forefront of strategic decision‑making, allowing you to shape industry standards and create long‑term value for clients.

You will partner with leading enterprises to design and implement world‑class EHS programs, drive transformative solutions at the intersection of compliance, risk management, and sustainability, and expand ERM’s market leadership. Mentoring the next generation of sustainability leaders and contributing to ERM’s strategic direction as an equity Partner are key components of the position.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of experience in EHS compliance, risk management systems, and sustainability advisory, with executive‑level consulting or corporate leadership and a track record of business development success. Strong influencing and communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and an established client network in technology, energy, or industrial sectors are essential. Preferred experience includes decarbonization strategies, biodiversity compliance, ESG reporting, and thought leadership on sustainability trends.

15+ years of EHS compliance, risk management, and sustainability advisory experience
Executive‑level consulting or corporate leadership with proven business development success
Strong ability to influence, communicate, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
Entrepreneurial mindset driving growth and innovation
Established client network in technology, energy, or industrial sectors (preferred)
Experience with decarbonization strategies, biodiversity compliance, and ESG reporting (preferred)
Thought leadership on sustainability trends and regulatory frameworks (preferred)
Innovate compliance and risk management solutions for complex regulatory environments
