Notify site operations of issues and failures, and monitor these issues through resolution
Perform turbine reliability, technical and root cause analysis
Support and lead projects within the team to improve condition monitoring systems, asset reliability, and drive excellence within the organization
Issue ad-hoc reports for non-standard analysis requests
Support multiple on-line turbine condition monitoring software and hardware platforms. Define parameters, alarm levels, and set-ups on a fleet level basis. Troubleshoot these systems as needed
Coordinate with RWE’s internal and external stakeholders; standardize activities around condition monitoring process and actively engage with site staff concerning the condition monitoring systems
Perform data analysis on drivetrain vibration, lubrication, and SCADA data to identify issues and failures
Create and develop tools, software, and analysis techniques that increase analyst efficiency
Establish and maintain commonly used databases for e.g. component failures, component kinematic data etc.
Give support to regional Operations and Maintenance teams about faults, reliability, and technical issues detected and the recommended actions
Support takeover of condition monitoring systems from OEM to RWE control at end of warranty
Perform site visits to support site operations

This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE office and field locations
Category II Certification in Vibration Analysis following ISO18436 or equivalent
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
Minimum 2 years of engineering experience with a minimum of 18 months of experience in Vibration & Condition Monitoring
Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
Ability to communicate and work effectively with various project teams
Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
Working knowledge of programming (Python, Matlab preferred) and software development, plus data analysis and signal processing techniques
Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships
Degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics from an accredited university or college
Fluent in written and spoken English
Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
