Senior Superintendent - Healthcare (HCAi & Behavioral)

Description

• Perform all superintendent responsibilities
• Enforce safety procedures
• Attend and participate in safety training programs
• Verify subcontractor certificates of insurance
• Prepare and maintain CPM job schedule
• Recruit, organize, train, direct, and coordinate field construction team and subcontractor hires
• Set and enforce quality control standards
• Order materials and tools proactively to avoid crisis buying
• Prepare reports such as timesheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approvals
• Document and complete all punch lists promptly
• Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals
• Chair or attend pre‑job conferences and regular subcontractor meetings
• Conduct start‑up testing and turnover to owner
• Document final close‑out and obtain owner acceptance
• Perform manual work only in rare, exigent circumstances
• Supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area

Requirements

• Possess Healthcare (HCAi) and Behavioral project experience
• Hold an engineering, construction management, architectural degree or equivalent experience
• Have at least 8 years supervisory field construction experience as superintendent
• Hold current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification or obtain within six months of hire
• Demonstrate working knowledge of all trades and prior experience as foreman, journeyman, or project engineer
• Know OSHA regulations
• Understand job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control
• Exhibit strong problem‑solving ability
• Possess a strong sense of urgency

Compensation Range $117,500.00 - $195,800.00 Annual Salary. Job Description Summary: Supervision of the construction project resulting in successful project completion.
