This entry‑level production role supports the manufacturing of Thermo‑1200 Calcium Silicate Insulation. Employees must be dependable, follow established procedures, and embody the company’s core values of People, Passion, Perform, and Protect.
The employee will promote safe practices, wear required personal protective equipment, understand and apply plant safety regulations, and report any hazards immediately. Excellent attendance, attitude, and motivation are required to advance.
Daily responsibilities involve operating equipment, moving material carts, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting maintenance activities, all in accordance with the facility’s ISO certification.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with up to one month of related experience or equivalent training. Candidates must be able to read safety documents, write routine reports, perform basic arithmetic, and possess common‑sense problem‑solving skills. Forklift certification is also required.
The role demands regular standing, walking, lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 50 lb, repetitive motions, and frequent use of hands and arms. The work environment is industrial, with exposure to high noise, vibration, heat, cold, dust, fumes, and potentially toxic chemicals; appropriate PPE such as steel‑toed shoes, ear and eye protection, and respirators must be worn.
The position offers a base hourly rate of $24.70, and applications are expected to be received by Friday, February 13, 2026, though the deadline may be extended by Johns Manville.
