Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations)
Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.

Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
Engine and/or component rebuilding experience is beneficial
CAT dealer training
Clean Drivers’ Abstract (5 yr) required for field roles
A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience
Demonstrated field troubleshooting skills on the Caterpillar equipment is required for field based positions
5x2 or 7x7 Shifts
Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems are considered assets
