The Accelerate Rotational Early Career Development Program is a two‑year, six‑month‑per‑rotation experience that moves participants through engineering, operations and strategic global functions. It provides a 360‑degree view of the business and prepares early‑career engineers and operators for advanced roles.
Two focus profiles are available: (1) Global Controls, Reliability & Safety Engineering – for candidates interested in industrial automation, functional safety and global standards; and (2) Embedded Systems, Automation & R&D Innovation – for those who enjoy hands‑on hardware‑software development using C/C++, Python or LabVIEW to prototype HVACR technologies.
Applicants should be recent university graduates or early‑career professionals with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, prior co‑op or internship experience leading projects, and a willingness to relocate for each rotation within the United States (with possible international placement). Candidates must be able to commit to the two‑year program, start on June 15, 2026, and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Participants work on real projects from day one, including a Capstone challenge that is presented to senior leaders. They receive a dedicated mentor, network with industry leaders, and follow a tailored learning plan that aligns with their career aspirations. The program also offers potential international assignments, giving exposure to different cultures and markets.
Copeland emphasizes sustainability, inclusion and employee development, offering flexible benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid parental leave and flexible time off. Employee resource groups foster a culture of belonging, and the company invests in onboarding through senior‑leadership mentorship to help people thrive personally and professionally.
