What you would be doing

- Assist in Quality Training
- Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems
- Ensure that all quality standards are met.
- Gage calibrations, incoming inspections, line audits
- Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments
- Troubleshoot any areas of the assembly process where a quality issue occurs.
- Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications
- Record and analysis data, maintain proper paperwork/documentation of departmental data.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective action.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required.

- Excellent shop math skills (Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals)
- Must be proficient in the use of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, pin gages, feeler gages, lineal measurement devices and Optical comparator
- Critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal, written communication, teamwork, quality, and adaptability skills
- Ability to compile and read run charts
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Teams, and Excel.
- 1-2 years of Quality related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Metrology Quality System Practices
- Ability to analyze and interpret drawings and specifications.
- High School Diploma/GED required - Associate or two year degree from a college or technical school is preferred.
