The Custodian (part‑time) works under the Custodial Manager or Supervisor at C&W Services, performing a range of cleaning duties in accordance with company standards and procedures. The role involves maintaining floors, surfaces, windows, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for building occupants.
- Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and surfaces.
- Operate commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines.
- Vacuum and spot‑clean rugs in offices and public areas.
- Dust and clean furniture, exhibits, trims, fixtures, and conduct periodic high dusting.
- Clean interior windowsills, glass doors, partitions, and specified windows.
- Wash entrance door glass and trim, and spot‑clean interior walls as needed.
- Clean and restock restrooms daily, including fixtures, dispensers, and flooring.
- Monitor and report issues such as clogged urinals or non‑functioning lights.
- Collect and dispose of building trash, replace liners, and manage waste containers.
- Sweep or shovel snow from entrances and walkways as directed.
- Perform periodic high‑dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing.
- Follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and collaborate as a team member.
- Use cleaning equipment, including backpack‑style portable vacuums.

Benefits
