- You will be a key member of the Operations Catchment Services (OCS) leadership team, working collaboratively across OCS to champion an integrated approach to catchment planning and services. In addition to leading your own team, you will contribute to the broader leadership of the 200+ people within OCS, helping to shape direction, culture, and performance across the service
- As part of the RBMP programme leadership team, you will ensure your team plays a key role in facilitating the Integrated River Basin and Catchment Planning Leads Network. You’ll be responsible for ensuring your team tracks and reports on RBMP delivery by collecting progress updates, identifying risks, and effectiveness. You will capture case studies and examples of best practice to support continuous improvement.
- Additionally, you will co-lead the EPE Manager Network and provide Technical Secretariat to the environment planning portfolio. The role is central to shaping the future of England’s water environment and contributing to the Environmental Improvement Plan 2023 goal of clean and plentiful water.

- We need a proven, experienced manager to provide leadership of a small operational team within Team Water. The role also requires leadership across relevant Area, Portfolio and E&B teams that work on River Basin Management Plans. This will involve setting strategic direction for environmental planning at a river basin or national level, owning key frameworks, representing the organisation externally, driving innovation in planning approaches, and assuring delivery against national environmental targets.
