- Fitting and welding of large structural steel using SMAW/FCAW welding techniques.

- Must be registered with the Alberta Apprentice Program.
- Experience in a heavy structural steel welding and fabrication environment is considered an asset.
- Ability to work overtime or shift work as required.
- Ability to read and use blueprints on a daily basis.
- Ability to use welding and fabrication tools such as torches, arc gouging equipment, drills, measuring tools, etc.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with SMAW/FCAW/MCAW/GMAW welding is essential, other welding experience is an asset.
