Overview

Operate MEWPs at night to remove unauthorised attachments on Birmingham highways.

Tasks

-Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with site regulations. -Support removal operations and assist with traffic management if required. -Operate Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) safely and efficiently. -Work in pairs across various sites in Birmingham, starting and finishing at the depot. -Conduct daily equipment checks and report any defects.

What You Bring

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operators with valid certifications to join a reputable contractor on a high-profile infrastructure project. -CPCS A26 or NPORS N108/N109 certification. -Manual Handling / Asbestos Awareness: Not required. -Valid IPAF 1B licence (essential). -Must provide own 6pt PPE (Helmet with 4pt chin strap, Gloves, Hi-Vis, Glasses, Boots). -Full UK Driving Licence – must be able to drive up to 7.5 tonnes. -Safety Critical Medical certification (by SEQHOS accredited company). -Ability to work night shifts (8:00 PM – 4:30/5:00 AM). -DBS Check: Not required. -D&A Test: Conducted during induction.
