  • Review vendor documentation & responses, conduct gap analyses.
  • Engage with project & business-unit stakeholders to communicate HSEQ integration processes, address change-related concerns, support systems adoption & build understanding & confidence during onboarding & transition activities.
  • Lead & coordinate enablement & technical support across Symal’s operations & where applicable, newly integrated entities, ensuring system adoption, capability uplift & a culture of shared ownership of HSEQ governance.
  • Coordinate document updates arising from due diligence outputs, audit findings, incident learnings, or periodic review cycles, ensuring version control & governance consistency.
  • Maintain & improve Symal’s controlled HSEQ documentation (policies, procedures, permits, templates) to ensure accuracy, accessibility & compliance with ISO, OFSC, and legislative requirements.
  • Pilot, document & coordinate approved system enhancements (automation, workflow optimisation, template redesigns, reporting tools) in line with governance priorities.
  • Undertake short-duration site visits as required to validate responses & observe operational practices.
  • Lead Symal’s HSEQ due diligence during mergers & acquisitions, applying & refining structured DD question sets across compliance, certification, incidents, risk management, training, plant, environment, quality, governance & health monitoring.
  • Drive continuous improvement of Symal’s HSEQ management systems by analysing feedback and findings from due diligence, system enablement & support & training activities.

  • Demonstrated experience in due diligence, audit, or compliance assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OFSC accreditation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with digital compliance tools & document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, HammerTech).
  • Solid experience in HSEQ roles within construction, infrastructure or related industries.
