At OneH2, the HVAC Engineer will work hands‑on with equipment to design, optimize, test, and support advanced chiller systems for mobile and stationary hydrogen applications. The role blends field and shop‑floor work with engineering analysis, commissioning, troubleshooting, and implementation of practical solutions in real time. The engineer will own the full lifecycle of these systems, ensuring performance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the fleet.

The engineer will design and improve chiller plumbing, perform heat‑load calculations, and develop SOPs for safe operation and maintenance. They will create testing protocols, oversee commissioning, and provide technical direction to drafters, model makers, technicians, and programmers. Requirements

Strong collaboration, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to travel and spend 50 % of time on‑site in Hickory, NC are essential.
