Manage vendor partnerships, maintenance, workplace safety/ergonomics, space planning, and cost/energy efficiency across the portfolio.
Integrate EHS, Environmental, and Facilities programs to leverage synergies (shared tools, combined audits/inspections, unified processes and reporting).

Oversee environmental compliance (permits; waste, chemical, and water management; noise and emissions) and conduct internal/external audits.
Develop and implement a global EHS strategy, systems, and policies aligned with corporate objectives, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, and local regulatory requirements.
Represent Fluence with regulators, customers, auditors, and industry groups on EHS matters; actively participate in relevant associations.
Collaborate with Quality & Operational Risk, Legal, HR, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Project Delivery to embed EHS into bids and execution.
Drive resource and energy efficiency programs and environmental risk reduction initiatives tied to enterprise ESG goals.
Own the SA8000 program: audit planning and execution across sites and suppliers, certification/re‑certification, and CAPA management/closure.
Scale the portfolio from ~7 sites to 12–13 in line with business growth, establishing global standards and service levels.
Monitor latest standards, laws, and best practices; translate into global policies, SOPs, and implementation roadmaps.
Act as a corporate EHS & Facilities leader, providing guidance, frameworks, and escalation to executive leadership and the ELT.
Lead the headquarters relocation: site search/selection, lease/contracting, due diligence, fit‑out, move plan, budget, and change management; ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
Align with the Transformation Office to embed sustainability and continuous improvement practices in EHS and Facilities.
Oversee global corporate facilities strategy and operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and sustainable workplaces.
Build organizational capability through tools, training, and culture programs that strengthen EHS ownership at all levels.

15+ years of progressive leadership in EHS and/or Facilities Management within energy/cleantech, manufacturing, or industrial project delivery; global scale experience.
Ability to lead distributed teams; international travel as needed.
Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and standards, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and SA8000; proficiency in incident/RCA/CAPA leadership.
Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills; vendor and budget management expertise.
Proven experience designing and scaling global EHS programs and facilities operations across multiple regions, including major office relocations.
Global Facilities Management Expertise
Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Business; advanced degree preferred.
